This website is a virtuous creation of Lectus Publishing toward everyone who loves or seek the ancient Greek philosophy. Her designing is structured with way so that it presents immediately and easily the exquisite maxims of ancient Greek philosophers. Her regard is that the Eclectism as philosophical current, that began from Ploutarxos until Cicero, is the most ideal way, from the one hand, in order to avoid the dogmatism, on the other hand, in order to extend the intellectual conscience of each philosopher.

The Eclectism resembles the bee, that takes pollens from all the blooms and then processes in her beehive. She is interested only in her own honey. It is also about a web page, open to the users of internet, as long as is given the possibility to all participate, sending the maxim that they know, so that mousa.gr is enriched via the time and via their participation.

BEGINNING OF PHILOSOPHY IS THE ADMIRATION

First was Pythagoras who used the name philosophy and called himself philosopher.Greek philosophy is the premier and began from Orpheus in Thraca , and from Linen in Thebes.

Next ancient philosopher was Mouseus from Athens , who first wrote about Theogony and Ball. Philosophy that began from Pythagoras was named Italian, because Pythagoraw practised philosophy mainly in Italy.

Philosophy that began from Anaximandros was named Ionic, because the schoolteacher of Anaximandros, Thales, was from Ionia-he came from Militos. Philosophy is separated in three parts: natural, moral, argumentative. Socrates imported the moral philosophy.

In moral philosophy there where ten schools: Academician, Cyrinaician, Ilician, Megarian, Cynical, Eretrician, Dialectic, Peripatetic, Stoic,,Epicure.

PHILOSOPHER IS THE ONE WHO LOVES SAPIENCE.
